Chad Bernhardt, M.D.
Dr. Bernhardt graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School and went on to complete his residency at the Denver Health Residency in Emergency Medicine.  He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine .  Dr. Bernhardt is a Voluntary Assistant Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of California, San Diego.  He currently serves as the physician representative to the hospital's Disaster and Emergency Preparedness Committee.  Dr. Bernhardt has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical group since 2007.

Dorothy Brown, M.D.
Dr. Brown graduated from the Georgetown School of Medicine. She is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.  She is a past Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine and the Emergency Department Quality Assurance Committee, and is an active member of the hospital Medication Safety Committee.  Dr. Brown has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 1998. 

Randall Browning, M.D., M.P.H.
Dr. Browning graduated with honors from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio.  He received a Masters of Public Health (MPH) degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from San Diego State University.  He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and Medical Toxicology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.  Dr. Browning has over 25 years of experience in Occupational Medicine, and is the Chief Medical Officer for Work Partners Occupational Health Specialists.  He has numerous peer-reviewed publications in the fields of Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Toxicology.  He has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 1994.

Richard Burruss Jr., M.D.
Dr. Burruss graduated from the Medical College of Virginia.  He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and a Voluntary Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine.  Dr. Burruss is a past Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine, and is immediate past Chief of Staff for the Tri-City Healthcare District Medical Staff. He has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 1987.

PengTa Anthony Chiang, M.D.
Dr. Chiang graduated from the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.  He has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 2007.  

Reid Conant, M.D.
Dr. Conant graduated from the Jefferson Medical College.  He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.  He serves as the Information Technology Physician Liaison at Tri-City Medical Center, and is a Voluntary Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine.  Dr. Conant has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 2003.

Ariana Dillman, M.D.
Dr. Dillman graduated from UC Davis School of Medicine and went on to complete her residency in Emergency Medicine at Harbor-UCLA.  She is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.  Dr. Dillman has been with Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 2013.

Colin Dougherty, M.D.
Dr. Dougherty graduated from the Chicago Medical School. He is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, and is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Dougherty has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 2007.

Michael Forman, M.D.
Dr. Forman graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at Denver General Hospital/St. Anthony Hospital Systems/St. Joseph Hospital, Denver, Colorado.  He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians,  and a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners.  Dr. Forman is also a Voluntary Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the UCSD School of Medicine. He has served previously as Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Tri-City Medical Center, and as Director of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group.  Dr. Forman has been CFO of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group for over 20 years, and is an expert in Emergency Medicine billing and coding.  He has given national courses on Emergency Medicine billing and coding, and is currently a member of the California ACEP Reimbursement Committee.   Dr. Forman has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 1985.

Steven Gabriel, M.D.
Dr. Gabriel graduated from the State University of New York Medical School. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, the Director of Residency Training, and the Chairman of the Graduate Medical Education Committee at Tri-City Medical Center. Dr. Gabriel has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 2001.

Darin Garner, M.D.
Dr. Garner graduated from the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.    Dr. Garner has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 2003.

Judd Glasser, M.D.
Dr. Glasser graduated from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. . He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.  He is currently the Director of Pre-hospital Care at Tri-City Medical Center, and is a Voluntary Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Glasser has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 2003. 

Stephen Karas Jr., M.D.
Dr. Karas graduated form the John Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, and a Voluntary Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine.  He is past Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine, past Chairman of Pre-Hospital Care, and past Director of Residency Training, all at Tri-City Medical Center.  Dr. Karas has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the California Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and has served as a member of the Clinical Policies Committee for the national organization. Dr. Karas has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 1975.  

Lisa Lowe, M.D., M.P.H.
Dr. Lowe graduated from the University of California, Davis School of Medicine.  She also received a Masters Degree from the UCLA School of Public Health. She is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners, and  Clinical Faculty at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Lowe has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 2007.  
    

Gene Ma, M.D.
Dr. Ma graduated from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and a Voluntary Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSD. He was recently elected Chief of Staff at Tri-City Medical Center.  He is a past Chairman of Emergency Department Quality Review, and is a past Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Tri-City Medical Center. Dr. Ma serves as Executive Director for Tri-City Emergency Medical Group and WorkPartners Occupational Health Specialists. He has been selected nine times as a “San Diego Top Doctor” in Emergency Medicine, has served on the hospital foundation for seven years, and the medical executive committee for 6 years. Dr. Ma has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 2000.

Cary Mells, M.D.
Dr. Mells graduated from the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners, and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.  Dr. Mells is a past Chairman for The Emergency Medicine Quality Assurance Committee, past Chairman of Pre-Hospital Care, and is currently the Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Tri-City Medical Center, as well as Director for Tri-City Emergency Medical Group.  He is also a Voluntary Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine.  Dr. Mells has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 1992.  

Byron Mitchell, M.D.
Dr. Mitchell  graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine. He received a Masters Degree in Physiology from UCLA. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and Voluntary Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine.  He has been Chairman of Pre-Hospital care, Director of Occupational Health and past Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Tri-City Medical Center. Dr. Mitchell has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 1974.

Bismark, Oh, M.D.
Dr. Oh graduated from New York Medical College. He attended his residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Oh is the current Residency Director for TCEMG,  and is a Voluntary Assistant Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine at UCSD. He is a Clinical Instructor for the Department of the Navy Emergency Medicine Residency. He is the chair of the Graduate Medical Education Committee and a member of the Continuing Medical Education Committee at Tri-City Medical Center. Dr. Oh has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 2007.

David Pregerson, M.D.
Dr. Pregerson graduated from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, and a Clinical Instructor of Medicine, UCLA School of Medicine.  He is an Expert Medical Reviewer for the Medical Board of California, and writes pocket medical references and a column on emergency ultrasound.  Dr. Pregerson has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 2005.

Edward Rotunda, M.D.
Dr. Rotunda graduated from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.  Dr. Rotunda has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 2002.

Henry Showah, M.D.
Dr. Showah graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.  He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and a Voluntary Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine.  He has been selected multiple times as a "San Diego Top Doctor" in Emergency Medicine.  Dr. Showah is the Past Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Tri-City Medical Center and Past Medical Director for Tri-City Emergency Medical Group.  He continues to serve on Tri-City Medical Center's Medical Executive Committee.  He is a Past Qualified Medical Evaluator for the State of California Industrial Medical Council and currently serves on the Board of Directors for WorkPartners Occupational Health Specialists Clinics.  Dr. Showah has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 2000.

Ryan Smith, D.O.
Dr. Smith graduated from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine.  Dr. Smith currently serves as the Pre-hospital Base Station Medical Director at Tri-City Medical Center. He also serves as Co-Chair for the San Diego County Pre-hospital Audit Committee. At Tri-City Medical Center, he also serves as the Physician representative for both the ACLS Experienced Provider Course and the Resuscitation Center Committee. Dr. Smith previously served as the physician representative for the  Disaster Committee at Tri-City Medical Center. Dr. Smith has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 2007.

Neil Tomaneng, M.D.
Dr. Tomaneng graduated from the University of California Davis School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine,, and is currently the Chairman of Pre-hospital Care at Tri-City Medical Center.  Dr. Tomaneng has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 2004.

Michelle Voigt, M.D.
Dr. Voigt graduated from UC Davis School of Medicine and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at UC San Diego where she received recognition as Resident of the Year for outstanding patient satisfaction and dedication to medical student education. She is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Voigt has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 2011.

Todd Zaayer, M.D.
Dr. Zaayer graduated from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is also a Voluntary Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, and a past Chairman of Pre-Hospital Care at Tri-City Medical Center. He is currently the Chairman of Quality Assurance. Dr. Zaayer has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 1995.

Juan Carlos Zorrilla, M.D.
Dr. Zorilla graduated from the Northwestern University Medical School. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.  Dr. Zorilla has been a member of Tri-City Emergency Medical Group since 1998.
